A Bit About Me
Jack of all trades, master of none. I have dabbled across different industries like they were my childhood hobbies, but I guess in a way they are. With a bachelor's degree as abstract and broad Philosophy, people always ask me - 'What will you do with that degree?' Well, I have tried research, copywriting, talent acquisition and public relations to name a few! (And I did all of that before I even graduated) Now I'm ready to embark to the working world and pursue my passion in editorial writing and content creation.

Fun fact: I took a gap year after junior college and received a private diploma in mass communications from Kaplan because I was waiting for the Spring admissions to Penn State University, but Covid-19 and the rampant Asian hate crimes made me rethink my decision to study in the USA. So I ended up in NTU.

The Young SEAkers
May 2023 - December 2024
This was my most ambitious internship to date. Apart from the weekly article writing and reviewing, I also was tasked to do my own research on different topics, create wireframes & publish my own landing pages for the Thomson Medical website.
For this role, I liaised with hiring managers across different functions like Regional Marketing, Business Intelligence and Business Development to help them with their end-to-end intern recruitment. I also managed to do my own internal project where I pitched ideas to my supervisor on how to reduce the number of intern early terminations.
For The Young SEAkers, I was a volunteer under the Marketing Communications team as 'Associate of Research and Content' where I was introduced to copywriting for the @helloseakers Instagram page, and helped with the marketing collaterals for the SEAkers Go! Guangxi expedition.
